Hike the Hidden Valley trail to navigate in and out of boulders and find that elusive shade. The Keys View trail may be the shortest, but it provides an expansive view of the San Andreas fault.
While you're in the desert, you might as well get a taste of mother nature. Here, you can hike, rock-climb, and camp. Note: It's better to come during the non-summer months because of the heat.
This park is beautiful and not your typical park. Make an effort to stay until it gets truly dark. You'll see the stars like you've never seen them before. It's absolutely stunning. Dress warmly!

Amazing place to visit. Tons of hiking and camping. Surprisingly, many birds amongst the park as well. Many photos taken. Guide was Walker Wadkins, very knowledgeable.
