Дердл-Дор в городе West Lulworth

Дердл-дор (англ. ') — естественные известняковые скальные ворота на Юрском побережье недалеко от Вест-Лулворта в Дорсете, Англия. Является частной собственностью Уэлдов, семьи, владения которой в Дорсете составляют 12 000 акров (50 кв. км.). Доступны для посещения. Название «Дердл» происходит от староанглийского 'thirl', означающего бур или высверленное отверстие; «дор» означает дверь.

Steep climb to beaches right hand is Durdle Door left Man o War beach. We went in August beautiful coloured sea very impressive . Right beach very pebbled but still a lovely beach .

One of the most picturesque places, be prepared to walk & wear trainers, flip flops won't get you there. Take a flask too, coffee will cost you sweat more than money if your on the beach needing one.

Beautiful views and a quieter area of the Jurassic coastline,, but a little inaccessible, not suitable for pushchairs unless you are intrepid, wear sensible footwear!
