After the first week that turned us into human liquid we decided to fuck off to Hoi an, double our accomodation budget in order to rest and shifted - like good tourists- to burgers, indian and thai food, hoping to get back on our feet. Hoi an was cute, kind of a disneyland village but very old and beautiful. Perfect place for tea tastings. We then flew to Dalat, second time ever I am flying with an actual propeller plane, pretty smooth flight though. Dalat was certainly a highlight, watching the blue blood moon from a rooftop as well as visiting both the Elephant and Pongour falls. It was good to be back in nature after our 5 days in the city of Hoi an. Though the amount of thrashes is unbelievable EVERYWHERE. As you can imagine, everybody is trying not to have them on their pictures, but it is there and it is everywhere. I wish we could say this is due to tourists but i guess the non existing thrash collecting system coupled to locals just throwing EVERYTHING straight in the water (seen regularly on boats, on the shore, at markets by the river etc...) I would say that no one gives a shit. We’re now in Mui Ne for a few nights before going down to Saigon and then back to Hanoi.
